Private Client Commissions and Custom Sewing:

Kaufmann's Emporium is fully capable of designing and constructing private commissions or custom built garments for our clients. The following terms and conditions apply to ensure both designer and customer are satisfied:

· Consultation with client regarding style of garment, color choices, fabric and trim options, and general design specifics.

· Correct measurements and mock-up fitting. Measurements can be taken by Kaufmann's, or by an experienced tailor/seamstress using our Measurements guide. Should the client live outside of the Chicagoland area, arrangements will be made for shipping the mock-up for fitting. Construction of the garment cannot begin without return of a fitted mock-up.

· Good communication during all avenues of the design and construction process is essential to ensure the product is exactly what the client is expecting.

· 1/3 of your total is due at time of order, prior to construction. The remaining balance is due at time of shipment.

Shipping:
Prices do not include shipping. Kaufmann's can provide an estimate for you, which will be calculated separately. Our standard shipping is US Postal Service priority mail. Additional delivery options are also available upon request.
