"Good Morning Brian,
The purpose of this e-mail is to let you know how absolutely delighted I am with the belt you created with me in mind. It suits me, and you are getting a great deal of good press as a result of it! I wore it both days at Marengo this weekend past. I cannot begin to tell you how many people commented on its beauty. I, of course, was quick to tell them you created it and that Mom's favorite flower was the rose and you adorned them with tiny pearls, which represent tears in 1860 mourning. It is no accident that this is also the birthstone of Mother and me, as I was born on her birthday June 29th. The frogs are so delicate and lovely. I can't thank you enough for adding a new and exciting dimension to my second stage of mourning! I will always be grateful for your sensitivity, creativity and generosity.
